Datamatrix 
GS1 DataMatrix is a matrix (2D or two-dimensional) which can encode multiple data such as expiry dates, batch number as well as EAN or UPC number for a product.
They are normally square as this allows more data to be encoded. They can be rectangular if there is less data to encode and limited space.
Purchase the quantity you want, and we will send you an email with an online form to input the data you want encoded. Once you have provided the required information, we will send the datamatrix images to you in 3 different formats (jpeg, pdf, eps). We can provide additional formats upon request.

GS1 Application Identifiers (AIs) are numeric prefixes used in barcodes and EPC/RFID-tags to define the meaning and format of encoded data elements.
